The Janesville Fire Department is looking to get its first boom-style aerial truck, replacing the old ladder trucks of days past. On Monday night, the Fire Department will ask the City Council to authorize the purchase of a new articulated boom truck from a company called Seagrave out of Clintonville, Wisconsin at a cost of $2.69 to $3.17 million.
