ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The City of Rockford is closing the two left lanes of North Main Street for an emergency water repair.
On Saturday, the city will be closing two northbound left lanes on Main Street from Park Avenue to Locus Street.
The city said proper traffic control will be in place, but advised citizens to use an alternative route if they can. Drivers were advised to use extreme caution when near the work zone.
The city expects the work to be finished within two to four business days.
