Northern Illinois Sees Up to 3 Inches of Snow During January 10 Storm

Chicago, IL – Northern Illinois and parts of northwest Indiana saw snow totals ranging from less than an inch to 3 inches Friday. The storm created slick roads and a challenging morning commute for many residents.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest snowfall was reported in Paxton, IL, with 3.1 inches. Morocco, IN, followed closely with 3 inches. Joliet recorded 2.8 inches, while Oswego, Tinley Park, and Watseka each received 2.5 inches.
