SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Nicholas Myher, 38, for strangling a woman in a shed, according to court records.
On March 23, around 1 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Dearborn Avenue after a woman called and told authorities she needed to get away from Myher. Deputies found the woman walking on the street with visible injuries.
The woman told officials that after having drinks at a bar with the suspect, they both went back to his house. Myher led the victim to a shed in the backyard that had a mattress and space heater inside, court documents showed…
