ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Tina Esquivel, 34, on charges of battering a 78-year-old woman, among other charges.
On March 25, around 5 p.m., officers were called to the 2900 block of 16th Street for reports of domestic battery. The victim told authorities the incident started when she attempted to stop the suspect from force feeding antibiotics to her child.
The situation escalated when Esquivel hit the 78-year-old in the face, officials reported.
