ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Effective immediately, the public works department has closed eastbound Broadway at the railroad viaduct.
On April 1, City of Rockford Public Works announced emergency repairs to the storm manhole in the 1900 block of Broadway.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured down 15th Street to 23rd Avenue. Drivers should expect delays and are urged to find a different route…
