Deputies: K9 sniffs out drugs during traffic stop in Rockford, suspect found with weapon

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Oscar Luna, 34, during a traffic stop on charges of delivering cocaine.

On April 1, around midnight, officers saw a gray Audi S5 speeding on South Main Street and pulled the driver over at the intersection of South Main and Springfield.

The suspect cooperated with deputies and admitted he was speeding, but told officials there were no drugs or firearms in the vehicle…
