Rockford egg hunt provides fun-filled afternoon for children of all abilities

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The second annual Rockford Easter Egg Hunt saw children of all ages on the hunt for over 100,000 eggs Sunday afternoon.

Screw City Jeeps 815 hosted the event in hopes to be on track to bringing a Guinness World Record back to Rockford.

“Well, a long time ago, Rockford used to be the Guinness Book World Record Holder for the largest Easter Egg Hunt,” Screw City Jeeps Founder Randon Spires said. “We’re always trying to think of what we can do positively for the community. We did a little research, and we said, maybe not this year, but within five years we could bring this record back to Rockford.”…
