Defense lawyers want off deadly Rockford bowling alley shooting

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) – Attorneys representing the former Green Beret accused of gunning down three people in a mass shooting at Don Carter Lanes in Rockford nearly five years ago have asked a Winnebago County judge to leave the case.

According to court documents, attorneys Kate Cohn, Andrea Lyons, Robert Kerr and Sana Navqi claim they have irreconcilable differences with their client, 41-year-old Duke Webb.

“Defendant appears to have engaged in conduct that undermines Attorneys’ trial strategy and theory of the case,” a motion filed by Webb’s lawyers on April 16 states…
