CHERRY VALLEY, Ill. (WTVO) — Cherry Valley Police arrested Thomas Tryggestad, 29, for slapping a 70-year-old man, according to court records.
On May 1, officers were called to the 3900 block of Genoa Road for reports of domestic battery. The victim told authorities the incident started when he confronted Tryggestad over missing money.
The argument escalated when the suspect slapped the senior, court records show.
