ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Ayanna Benson, 27, for allegedly attacking a woman in a Dollar Tree while recording the incident.
On May 1, around 10 a.m., officers were called to the Dollar Tree on 11 Street for reports of a battery. A witness told authorities that the incident started when Benson put her phone in the victim’s face to record her.
