Beloit Police Chief Andre Sayles to resign

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police Chief Andre Sayles announced his resignation on Thursday.

According to Sayles, he has accepted a new position and will be leaving the police department.

“It’s bittersweet as I am sharing some personal news. I’ve been proud to serve as your police chief these past four years, and I am proud of everything we have achieved together,” Sayles said in a statement. “I am sharing today to inform you that I have accepted a new position. This opportunity provides a unique chance for me to continue my career and contribute to a new community, and I am grateful for the support I have received to pursue this path. I will announce my destination at a later date.”…
