ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Everyone is welcome to help plant flowers from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Memorial Circle on Auburn Street.
There is no formal registration, volunteers can show up at any time and sign in at the green tent in front of Greenwood Cemetery. Any amount of work is appreciated, and attendees can stop at any time.
Tools, safety vests, gloves, water and snacks will be provided. If you would prefer to use your own gardening tools, you are welcome to bring them. Make sure any personal tools are marked…
