STEPHENSON COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – Motorists should expect delays for the next several weeks as a resurfacing project begins in Stephenson County.
The work zone for the $1.6 million project is on U.S. 20 from Rees Road near Lena to Flansburg Road near Freeport. Flaggers will help control daytime lane closures.
Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes if feasible and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
