WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – On Thursday, May 15, construction on U.S. 20 in Winnebago County will begin from Pecatonica Road to Falconer Road near Rockford.
Work will include the milling and resurfacing of the road. Daily lane closures controlled by flaggers will be in place along the nearly 8-mile work zone throughout the project.
Drivers should expect delays, allow extra time for trips through this area and use alternate routes to avoid the work zone when feasible…
