ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Strong House Summer Block Party offers family-friendly fun while bringing resources directly to the community.
The block party took place from noon to 4 p.m. June 9 at the Strong House at 312 Irving Avenue.
The event included free food, games, a raffle, a DJ, haircuts and on-site health screenings.
“We just feel it’s important to bring the resources to the community.
