Oregon woman creates GoFundMe to support recovery of man who broke his neck

OREGON, Ill. (WIFR) – A woman creates a fundraiser to support her brother who broke his neck when he dove into a pool.

According to the GoFundMe, Nathan Avery dove into a pool June 17 and hit the bottom, breaking his neck and shattering his C5 vertebrae, paralyzing him from the chest down.

He was taken to a hospital in Rockford and later airlifted to Madison, Wisconsin where he had a 6 hour surgery, his sister says…
