Knife-wielding suspect in custody after armed robbery at downtown Rockford store

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police have arrested Oscar Taylor, 55, for allegedly robbing a downtown convenience store clerk at knifepoint.

According to police, around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Taylor went into the Faust Market, 813 E. State Street, and grabbed the clerk by the neck and threatened him with a knife.
