Retail theft arrest operation leads to $3200 in merchandise, 9 arrests in Janesville

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police made nine arrests on Wednesday for a retail theft operation that resulted in $3200 in merchandise, the Janesville Police Department said in a statement on Thursday.

Janesville police, along with the Wisconsin Organized Retail Crime Association and assistance from the Beloit Police Department, conducted an operation specifically focused on retail crimes.
