Rockford teens caught with burglary tools, urinating in church parking lot

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Three teens, one as young as 13, face charges related to burglary and public urination after they were arrested while scoping out an unoccupied car in the parking lot of a Rockford church on Saturday.

According to the Rockford Police Department, officers with the department’s Specialized Community Oriented Policing Enforcement (SCOPE) team spotted the suspicious activity at Second Congregational UCC Church, at 318 N Church Street, around 1:50 a.m.
