Rockford man admits to punching the owner of a Citgo near the storefront: police

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Mitchel Williams, 30, for allegedly attacking the owner of a Citgo Gas Station near the front of the business.

On August 6, around 7 p.m., officers were called to the Citgo Gas Station on South Alpine for reports of an armed man. Williams was begging for money, the business owner reported.

The victim told authorities that the suspect threatened him with a pole and punched him in the face.
