Janesville man charged with trafficking a child from North Carolina

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Janesville Police arrested Adam Gurney, 29, for allegedly traveling to North Carolina to pick up a minor and bring her back to Janesville.

Officers were made aware of the situation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office on August 12, around 2 p.m.

Authorities surveilled the suspect until they saw him enter a vehicle with the girl. Police took Gurney into custody soon after.
