Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine- and medium-pitch custom gears, recognized Josh Gates on his 10th anniversary and thanked him for his long-term dedication to the company.
Gates is Forest City Gear’s turning lead. He started at Forest City Gear in the high-volume department working second shift, then soon transitioned to the turning department, which later combined with milling to create the CNC machining department located in the Roscoe Works building. Gates is the sole programmer for this department. He has a vast knowledge of tooling, turning, and milling, and had contributed greatly to the success of Roscoe Works over the years…
