ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Leaders with the Rockford Housing Authority say the city is full of supportive resources, but many people don’t know about them. They believe it is one of the biggest problems in the housing community.
The Rockford Housing Authority held its second annual All Things Housing Summit, an event rounding up available resources and putting them under one roof.
The summit is led by landlord liaison Justin Francis. He says the goal of the event is to bridge knowledge gaps and help people access stable, supportive housing. He adds it is also a space where landlords and tenants alike can come together, learn and collaborate…
