500+ vendors show up for 44th Pec Thing

PECATONICA, Ill. (WIFR) – Hundreds of vendors filled the Winnebago County Fairgrounds in Pecatonica this weekend for the 44th semi-annual Pec Thing.

This event started in 1981 and is held in the fall and spring. Organizers said close to 10,000 people came through the fairgrounds for the event.

From antique tools to quilts there were a plethora of things for people to buy. One of the vendors who renewed their spot for the spring told Winnebago County Fair Association President Deb Runte people in Missouri even know about Pec Thing…
