ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Authorities are investigating three separate fires at the Fairgrounds Housing Development that all happened within a day of each other.
Rockford Housing Authority CEO Laura Snyder said in a press release, “I am thankful that no one was injured and that we are working with Rockford PD to protect our property and identify the individual responsible.”
At 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, firefighters were called to the Fairgrounds complex for a fire in the 800 block of Tanner Street.
Around 8 p.m., firefighters returned to a massive blaze in the 900 block of Acorn Street, finding fire coming from the roof of three out of four residential apartments…
