Rock Co. nonprofit preparing to open Janesville’s first sober living home for women and children

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) – A Rock County nonprofit is hoping to fill a gap in the community by opening a first-of-its kind sober living home for women and their children.

For Rita Key, this mission is personal.

“I was in my 40s and I tried crack cocaine,” Key said. “I became addicted. I looked everywhere for help. Nobody took my insurance or the copay was too high. It was just difficult.”…
