Stellantis to reopen Belvidere Assembly Plant in 2027, add 3,000 jobs

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — The Belvidere Assembly Plant is set to reopen with the production of two new Jeep vehicles, automaker Stellantis said Tuesday.

The company said it plans to invest $13 billion in the United States to increase its domestic manufacturing footprint, and launch five new vehicles over the next four years.
