Beloit homicide case ends with 15-year prison term for shooter

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — A man convicted in a fatal 2024 Beloit shooting has been sentenced to spend 15 years in prison.

According to Rock County State’s Attorney Jason Sanders, Kevin Payne, 39, was found guilty of 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide for the shooting, which occurred in May 2024.
