ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – October 15 marks Infant and Pregnancy Loss Remembrance Day, a day dedicated to honoring babies lost too soon and supporting families as they navigate grief.
Megan Reiniche, a perinatal nurse navigator at UW Health SwedishAmerican Women and Children’s Hospital, says the day is not only about remembrance but also about raising awareness.
“It’s a day to honor and remember the lost little ones that pass too soon,” Reiniche said. “It’s also a time to acknowledge and recognize the grief journey that they have experienced and endured and continue to.”…
