ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The city of Rockford is partnering with AED Essentials and iEmpathize to offer free training courses aimed at educating the community on how to spot and prevent human trafficking.
The initiative includes a 30-minute tour of an exhibit at Rockford University, which showcases items and stories from real survivors of human trafficking. Following the tour, participants will attend a training session led by experts in the field.
