ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A 30-year-old man already sentenced to prison faces more time behind bars after admitting to killing a man six years ago.
Javari Conley pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree murder.
Prosecutors say around 9 p.m. March 7, 2019, deputies were called to investigate a shooting at the Great Oaks apartment complex in the 4800 block of Linden Road.
Deputies say they found Jaime Gonzalez, 19, slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Gonzalez died from his injuries…
