OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — A Byron woman was hospitalized following a crash at the intersection of Illinois Route 72 and N. Pecatonica Road on Wednesday.
According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the scene around 11:53 a.m.
Authorities said a red 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Marcy Tracy, 35, of Byron, was headed southbound on N. Pecatonica Road when she disregarded a stop sign and was hit by a westbound white 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by John Erbsen, 60, of Lanark…
