ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford is one of the country’s largest aerospace clusters with local manufacturers investing nearly $700 million over the past ten years.
Thursday, the Forest City hosted the Midwest Aerospace Conference or MAC2025 at the Embassy Suites. The event is hosted by the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Rockford Area Aerospace Network (RAAN) and IMEC.
“There’s a lot of people around the world that, when they think of aerospace manufacturing, they think of Rockford,” said Angela Kay Larson, CEO of the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce.
