ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A large field fire in west Rockford prompted a response from firefighters from multiple surrounding area departments on Monday afternoon.
Around 1 p.m., crews were called to stage at Thurgood Marshall Elementary, at 4704 N. Rockton, to combat the fire in the 2600 block of Elmwood.
