The City of Rockford began accepting applications for its Commercial Corridor Property Revitalization Program in late October 2025. The program applies to commercial and industrial-zoned properties along parts of Harrison Avenue, North Main Street, Rockton Avenue, South Alpine Road, and South Main Street.
Property owners who qualify can apply for forgivable loans that cover up to 75% of project costs, with a maximum of $25,000.
