ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – More than $70,000 will go toward breast cancer care and research at UW Health in northern Illinois, honoring the life of a Rockford woman who battled the disease.
On March 12, 2021, Margaret “Maggie” Rudolph, died at the age of 37 from breast cancer.
Now, her family is making sure her legacy lives on, through donations that will help patients fighting the same disease. Thursday, Nov. 6, the SwedishAmerican Health Foundation Margaret M. Rudolph Endowment Fund received two checks:
- One check was for $18,000 and came from an outside organization, Inspiration for Hope.
- The other was for $54,000 and came straight from the Margaret Rudolph “Maggie Strong” Trust
The trust and endowment fund was created by Maggie’s father, Ron, to make sure people remembered his daughter’s life…
