MACHESNEY PARK — The area’s second Scooter’s Coffee location represents a first for the 27-year-old franchise, which is serving customers inside a grocery store for the first time.
The specialty coffee company opened last week inside Meijer, 1770 West Lane Road. The opening comes about five months after the franchise made its entry into the region at 3515 E. State St. in Rockford.
Both locations are owned by BethAnn and Sean Lane, Hope Jones, and Jeff Becker. They plan to have multiple Scooter’s Coffee shops around the area…
