Little Caesar’s just opened a ‘first-of-its-kind’ restaurant, and it’s only in Illinois

One of America’s most-popular pizza delivery and take-out spots has a new, first-of-its kind restaurant — and it’s in Illinois.

Saturday, iconic pizza chain Little Caesars will celebrate the grand opening its first-ever “self-serve” restaurant, located in Rockford, at 3134 11th St, according to a release. While the 2,280 square-foot restaurant has been open since Oct. 24, the celebration Saturday will feature free pizza giveaways, live music, and more.

The store focuses on a “modern, technology-driven experience,” the release said, “focused on speed, simplicity and convenience” Most notably, the shop will be “contactless” from start to finish, without a traditional walk-up counter.

“Guests who place mobile orders through the Little Caesars app or online will find their order ready for pickup in the dedicated Mobile Order Pickup Zone,” the company said. “For walk-in customers, Hot-N-Ready Self-Serve stations will feature pre-made favorites—like Classic Pizzas, Crazy Bread and more.”…
