Rockford man charged after dogs bite multiple people, police say

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – One man is in jail and two others were taken to the hospital after a reported dog attack early Saturday morning, according to Rockford police.

Marcus Bostic, 39, of Rockford, is charged with two counts of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

Just before 2:30 a.m. Nov. 8, officers were called to the 1000 block of 12th Avenue for a report of dogs attacking multiple people. When officers got to the area, they found two men with several dog bites. The men were taken to area hospitals for their injuries. Bostic, who police say owns the dogs, was also found in the area with minor dog bites.
