ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rockford City Council is poised to ban the sale of a potent synthetic opioid that is sold at local businesses.
The Code and Regulation Committee recommended the approval of a text amendment to the city’s Code of Ordinances that would prohibit the sale of products made from 7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-OH), which is derived in part from the Kratom plant.
