Some Rockford drivers may need an alternative route to the office next week, as a planned street closure on the city’s west side is scheduled.
Traffic Detoured as Morgan Street Closes for Watermain Project
According to a press release from the City of Rockford, a temporary road closure on Tuesday, November 18, as city crews begin watermain work along Morgan Street.
Starting at 7 am, both lanes will be closed to through traffic from Sanford Street to Corbin Street, with work expected to be completed by the end of Tuesday (11/18).
Detours and Access for Local Residents and Businesses
Traffic in the construction area will be detoured south to Montague Street via Central Avenue and Corbin Street.
