Sober living home set to welcome women, families

JANESVILLE — A new sober living home focused on women’s long-term independence will host an open house Saturday to connect with the community and to raise funds as it prepares to welcome its firsts residents this month.

Rock County Restorations, founded by Rita Key, will operate the home at 1404 Center Ave. that’s designed to house up to five women and one family. The organization is set to begin accepting its first residents the week of Nov. 24, following a contract signing with Rock County Human Services.
