ROCKFORD — The city is getting another addition to its row of restaurants along Riverside Boulevard just off Interstate 90.
Panda Express has submitted plans to build a restaurant with a drive-thru at 7280 E. Riverside Blvd., which is next to Starbucks on one of the few vacant plots left between McFarland Road and Interstate 90.
That stretch of Riverside Boulevard, which is in the city of Loves Park on the north side and Rockford on the south side, has been the City with a Heart’s busiest growth corridor over the last five years. New restaurants, hotels and other businesses have filled multiple vacant lots since 2020…
