Little Caesars Opens Strange Restaurant Concept & People Have Mixed Reactions

The restaurant industry changes constantly. Businesses must continually innovate to keep customers coming through the doors. Whether it’s a new menu, a rewards app, or unique décor, with so much competition, it pays to be different. But at what point is something too out of the ordinary? Little Caesars likes to change things up and offer new menu items pretty frequently. The chain’s HOT-N-READY pizza is a fan favorite. There’s just something nice about walking in and knowing you can be back to your car with a delicious pizza in minutes. The chain recently opened a new location in Rockford, Illinois, which is the first of its kind. The new self-serve Little Caesars eliminates counter employees and just has people making pizzas in the back.

The New Little Caesars Concept Is Very Different

Customers can order online or through the app, then go to a Little Caesars location to pick up their pizza from the mobile ordering area. The store also has a HOT-N-READY self-service station for guests.

“It’s really intuitive, and the self-checkout is very similar to what you might see in a convenience store or at the airport. So, it makes it very easy, and who doesn’t want a hot fresh pizza really quickly,” Trish Heusel, Vice President of Innovation at Little Caesars, shared with WIFR.

The location promises to offer a very quick experience. “You can get in and out of the store in less than 20 seconds,” Trish Heusel said…
