RICHMOND-BURTON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Byron Tigers were expecting a physical, hard-fought battle against Richmond-Burton Saturday in the 3A IHSA State Semifinals. They got that for one series plus from the Rockets, but then it was all Byron.The Tigers defeated the previously undefeated Rockets 44-10 Saturday afternoon. The Rockets had the football first, and they put together a 73-yard touchdown drive using some physical runs and shot, accurate passes to keep the chains moving chewing up 8:35 off the clock.
