ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rockford Rescue Mission held its annual Thanksgiving banquet, bringing together 100 volunteers to serve meals and distribute essentials to those in need.
The event, which has become a staple of the Thanksgiving season in Rockford, featuring traditional holiday fare such as turkey, gravy, and pies. Attendees also received bags containing basic essentials, emphasizing the mission’s commitment to supporting the community.
