(WIFR) – With snow expected to make travel difficult in the stateline, below is a list of sites with real-time updates on road conditions.
What we’re expecting
Slippery road conditions are expected Sunday, Nov. 30, with areas of blowing and drifting snow, especially in open rural areas.
Crews with the Illinois Department of Transportation were out in force Friday pretreating the roads with clean-up efforts continuing into Sunday.
The city of Rockford said its crews have been working around the clock to clear main and residential routes. Those in Rockford can see an updated map of which areas have been cleared (green) and which routes are pending (red) or in progress (yellow).
