Another Chance of Snow on Wednesday
As we warned you more than a week in advance, the Thanksgiving weekend brought a foot of snow to some parts of Illinois and Wisconsin, with a few more inches accumulating as we headed back to work on Monday (12/1).
According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, the Rockford region has a 50 percent chance of snow showers on Wednesday (12/3), right before temperatures go subzero.
Cold Blast and More Snow Potential
Lows on Wednesday night (12/3) are expected to plummet, with the NWS forecasting an overnight low of -4 in Rockford, and the high temperature on Thursday (12/4) only reaching 10.
Thursday night’s low will be -6, with highs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday expected to be in the mid to upper 20s, and lows next weekend in the single digits, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.
Extended Forecast Currently Predicting More Snow
