ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford firefighters worked in freezing temperatures to extinguish a burning garage on Brooke Road Friday morning.
According to the Rockford Fire Department, the fire broke out around 5:11 a.m. in the 400 block.
A detached two-and-a-half-car garage was on fire when crews arrived at the scene, authorities said.
The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes, and officials said the adjacent house was not damaged…
